May 2012 Entry - Steve
I apologize for my entry being so late, but the past month has been hectic to say the least. The Blessings of God being poured out on 2 For 1 continues to be so overwhelming. During April we made our first visit to the great states of Ohio and West Virginia. While in Ohio we spent some time with some folks from South Carolina as well, "The Shireys." We spent the entire day with Wayne, Darlene, Victoria, and Rachael Shirey. We shared the stage with them and ended the day having dinner together. What great people and now some really good friends. We also learned that we would be on the cruise in November of this year together. We sang that day at the Salt Fork State Park & Lodge in Cambridge, Ohio, WOW how beautiful this place is, it is unbelievable. The following day in West Virginia we met some of the sweetest people in the world at the Faith Baptist Church in Pageton, West Virginia. We were also as far back in the mountains as we have ever been, great people, but a long way from anything...LOL. We closed out that weekend in Statesville, North Carolina at Bible Baptist Church. Another new church for us, with some new friends, and an awesome spirit.
April was such a Blessing for us in other ways as well. We were finally able to make our way to Dove Recording Studio and complete our seventh CD. We look forward to the release of this project entitled "Renewed" sometime in May. We will also be releasing a second CD made up of nothing but the old songs we all grew up on and enjoy so much still. We look so forward to what the Lord has in store for us in the future and look forward to seeing you on the road as well.
